What materials did you use to create this work?
Spray paint and stencils on a wooden box
In what context did you create your work?
For the "One Step Beyond" exhibition at Lavo//Matik Arts Urbains, Paris 13, in collaboration with Doctor Bergman. An exhibition inspired by the apocalyptic atmosphere and ongoing ecocides, showing animals in a stance of resistance. "Attention Fragile" shows this rabbit escaping from the cynically stamped box in which it was trapped. Fragile it may be, but not weak, and above all determined to live.
Why this work?
It is representative of my work and my person, which I believe are inseparable. Since 2016, I have been exploring the figure of the rabbit and its symbols in different human cultures, under the motto "follow the rabbit". It has the ironic peculiarity of having been seriously damaged during an assault I suffered, and this echoes the assaults suffered by living beings from minorities who abuse their power and make us feel powerless.

How did art enter your life?
As an only child with my single mother, verbal interactions were rare around me. I primarily approached existence through the visual and emotional. Having finally acquired essential social skills, creation remains a refuge and a mode of expression containing all my heightened sensitivity. I like the use of writing for the time it allows for word choice, however, I more easily let images speak.
What are your sources of inspiration? Passions that inspire you?
I was first fascinated by "live" artists: musicians, street performers, dancers, jugglers... By their expressive skills, which I transcribed visually, as if to appropriate them. I pay homage to certain particularly foundational imaginary worlds for me such as The Neverending Story, Mary Poppins, Willow, Alice in Wonderland, and Brazil... I have also directed several short films as part of international "Kino" festivals. In turn, I associate dreamlike qualities with reality, even the absurd with concrete subjects. Neither too didactic nor too opaque to understanding. Metaphor is my predilection, both visually and verbally.
