Abstract and instinctive acrylic painting

"I paint to express a vital force, emotions, sensations, BE in motion, explore my "field of possibilities"... Being self-taught, I have no school, no discipline, no model, only observation and curiosity, feeling as sources of inspiration.

To create in the present moment: it is to improvise, to SEE the invisible, to observe in order to capture subtle information that will emerge later and thus express my imagination in a fleeting emotion; it is also to search, to deepen, to doubt, to know how to "wait" and "let inspiration come".

The use of acrylic paint (sometimes combined with India inks) on different supports: canvas, wood, paper, glass, or plexiglass allows for diversified personal expression.

The particular research work undertaken "between plexiglass" conceptualizes a technique that I have called "Instinctive Captive Painting" and registered with the National Institute of Industrial Property (l'I.N.P.I – at the designs and models office) – These original and unique creations are registered under reference DSO2021016275 and protected by a certification of authenticity on the back of the works.
