In what context did you create your work?

Urbx Festival in Roubaix.

Why this artwork?

I wanted to reinterpret the world of Mario Bros with my own. Indeed, I find that the two have common points: bright colors, good humor, lightness, and other positive values that are dear to me. And the result, I'll let you be the judge, but I think it's magnificent!

How did art come into your life?

Totally by chance, and a really good one, because I was closing doors on myself, I didn't think I was capable of creating, yet I was a big street art enthusiast; as soon as there was a splash of color, I'd rush over to see what this find was! This fresco! Life works out well; it's been a long time now that I've been in this environment, like a fish in water.

What are your sources of inspiration? Passions that inspire you?

My primary source of inspiration was Keith Haring for the power of his characters despite their simplicity; it took me a long time before mine were as strong as his. Then it's a lot of music that gives me the impulse to paint; it puts me in a flow of creative energy. Sometimes I need an electric atmosphere, sometimes calmer. In any case, I wander through all genres, and perhaps that's what creates the great diversity of my works, even though the theme is always that of hearts.
